PADI Search & Recovery Diver Courses
The PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course helps you develop the skills you need to find lost items underwater and bring them back to the surface.
In this course, you will learn search and recovery dive planning, organisation, procedures, techniques for limited visibility conditions and navigation and how to overcome potential problems. You will practice locating large and small objects using different search patterns, and a variety of methods for lifting them to the surface including lifting bags.
These skills will help you to become more capable and confident in the water and able to search and recover for all kinds of lost items -you'll be surprised how many new friends you wil make by becoming a PADI Search and Recover Diver! This Speciality course will also count towads your PADI Master Scuba Diver qualification!
To do the PADI Search and Recovery Diver Speciality Course, you must
- be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or a PADI Open Water Diver with the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty (or equivalent certification from another organisation)
- be at least 12 years old
