PADI Divemaster (Dive Master) Course

The PADI Divemaster course allows you to develop your skills and expertise to a professional level. With your PADI Divemaster qualification will be able to work as a PADI professional in leading dives and supervising activities as well as assisting with student divers undertaking a course. As a PADI Divemaster you are also qualified to independedntly conduct the PADI Discover Snorkeing and Skin Diver courses, the Scuba Review and Discover Local Diving courses as well as (after additional training) the Discover Scuba Diving course.
You will work closely with your Instructor who will guide you through both the academic and practical aspects of the course and help you to expand your leadership abilities, organisation and problem solving skills. As well as independent study, you will have a series of skill and stamina exercises to complete and plenty of training exercises to allow you to practice your knowledge and develop your judgement during the course.
To become a PADI Divemaster you need
- to be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivolent from another training organization)
- to be a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivolent from another training organization)
- have at least 20 logged dives to begin the coure
- be at least 18 years old
- NOTE: you must complete at least 60 logged Dives for certification as PADI Divemaster
- NOTE: we normally offer the intership program (usually 4 weeks) however it is possible to do the course in a shorter time period, please contact us for more information.
