PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

With the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course you can make five adventure dives and have the opportunity to try some fun and useful specialty activities, including digital underwater photography, using underwater propulsion vehicals and wreck diving to name just a few.

With the PADI Advanced course you get the opportunity to improve your skills and confidence. You will complete 5 adventure dives, including deep diving and underwater navigation and your own choice of 3 additional adventure dives, with your PADI Instructor and will then be certified to dive to 30m with another certified diver.

To start your PADI Advanced Open Water Course you must

  • Be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivolent form another organisation)
  • Be 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver) 
  • Your Adventure Dive options include Project AWARE-fish identification, boat diving, deep diving, multilevel and computer diving, night diving, peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery, underwater nature study, underwater navigation, underwater photography, underwater videography and wreck diving
  • NOTE: every Adventure Dive in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course may count toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course
